Board of Trustees
Wāhine Led. Kaupapa Driven. Built for Change.
Our Board of Trustees brings together wāhine with lived experience, leadership, compassion, and a deep commitment to standing beside women and whānau through healing, safety, and transformation. Together, they guide Tū Māia Anake Trust with integrity, courage, and heart.
At the heart of Tū Māia Anake Trust is a board of wāhine who carry the kaupapa with strength, compassion, and lived understanding. Our trustees bring together leadership, community connection, faith, resilience, and a deep desire to see wāhine and whānau restored.
Led by Chairperson Oliva Taani, alongside trustees Lynique Ngapera, Christina Piggott, Jessica Carter, and Shelly Tupaea, this board stands united in the mission to support wāhine Māori who are facing meth addiction, family violence, unsafe relationships, and life’s hardest battles.
Together, they guide the trust with integrity, aroha, and courage — ensuring every decision is centred on safety, healing, dignity, and long-term change. Their role is not only governance, but guardianship of the vision: to help wāhine rise, rebuild, and walk forward with mana.
Tū Māia Anake Trust is wāhine-led, whānau-focused, and built on the belief that no woman should have to fight alone.
